The client

Allister is an eyewear brand that creates fashion-forward eyewear. While their target audience is based in LATAM, the client wanted to expand their market internationally and needed to cultivate brand awareness specific to the US.

The challenge

We were in charge of working on the branding that would be relevant to the different geographical locations of the target audiences. The US and South America have different cultures, and we needed to build the brand's identity to be appealing to each culture's values and tastes while remaining consistent with design elements to build brand awareness.

The approach

After researching the competition, analyzing the overall demographic, and creating personas, we realized that the UI of the site would need to focus heavily on the imagery of the products and lifestyle of the target audience. We cast 2 models that represented the look and lifestyle of the market, and conducted a photo session in sunny Downtown LA to show the laidback luxury of the brand.
